Cross-border Initiative Office of Extremadura publishes a book about Potuguese cinema

The Cross-border Initiative Office of the Regional Autonomous Government of Extremadura has added a new title to its collection created in order to spread Portuguese culture among adult population in Extremadura. General Scene of the Portuguese Cinema is the title of this book written by Angélica García Manso (Cáceres, Spain 1981), doctor of Art’s History at Universidad de Extremadura, who defended the first thesis about Portuguese cinema in Spain and published a monograph about the Portuguese director João César Monteiro.

This is the third book of this collection edited by the Cross border Initiative Office, after having published History of the Portuguese Painting (1800-1940) and Brief History of Portugal. This collection was created to spread among adult population, especially those learning Portuguese language, the culture of neighbour country.
